Busy Season = Eating Out!

During our slow season (winter) we eat at home a lot and I enjoy lots of time in the kitchen.

When work picks up, we definitely eat out more.

There are two new restaraunts that I am dying to try!

Recette and The Collective both in NYC.

There is also a place called La Esquina that is BEYOND amazing...I went there for a cocktail with Sarah & Nicole last week. Getting in the the restaurant is half the fun. Make sure you're glammed.

There is also a restaurant named Animal in LA I can't wait to try...but it may be a while before I'm there.

Great Ideas at The Standard

I shot a party last week at The Standard Bar & Grill. I was so inspired by the way they did their bread baskets and water for the tables! So chic and yet old world/country style.

A PTL Tasting

At sunset on Wednesday night, Seth and I walked a few blocks south to Alex Trkulja's apartment for a tasting. Seth hired Alex to cater a PTL cocktail event next week and Alex was so generous to invite us over for a pre-event bite.

He made bruschetta, pigs in a blanket, three-cheese-grilled-cheese (gruyere, muenster & havarti), crab cakes and more!

We brought a bottle of champagne and made a night of it, curling up by the big screen afterward to view a segment of Planet Earth.
