Croque Monsieur, Croque Madame

My Aunt Mary found and used this recipe while we were all at the cabin this summer and it was a huge hit!

If you're having special breakfast guests, this is a unique and impressive meal!

What you'll need:

White Pepper

12 oz. thinly sliced jambon de Paris (high-quality wet-cured ham)
10 oz. Gruyère cheese, coarsely grated

8 slices high-quality Pullman loaf bread, sliced ⅓- to ½-inch thick

Fry up an egg to make it "Madame" and serve with a fresh mixed green salad!

Mike West & Wienerschnitzel

Amazing.

We had dinner with Mike West & his girlfriend Lauren and they whipped up the most amazing German dinner delight!

We began the evening with German beer while watching the chefs at work

Lauren tends to a cucumber + dill salad

Mike soaked & salted the pretzel hors d'oeuvres

Seth occupies himself by sipping on an 8 year old Bicardi

Beer & butter on everything! Brussel sprouts, apple & pinenuts

Spaetzle

Wienerschnitzel

The finished product

We ended the evening sipping on Jagermeister and playing Quench in the Cigar Room

I won't mention who won the game because I'm still salty about it...

Otherwise, a perfect evening. Thanks Mike West!
