Locanda Verde

I was honored to document David & Vin's wedding party at Locanda Verde last Thursday Night.

I love shooting parties at this restaurant, and it isn't just because they always feed me, I promise! From the fresh, young, professionally crowded front room to the low-lit privacy of the party room in back, Locanda Verde get's it right every time.


The main attraction: long wooden tables pulled together in the center of the room create a gorgeous centerpiece as well as a deliciously stocked hors d'oeuvre tray.


An impressive bar is the room's main attraction.


Private tables along the walls...great for conversation.








A plate of Pepperdew Peppers has guests oohing and aahing and begging for more. There were also Lamb Meatballs, another favorite of the evening.

One of my all time favorite meals this summer thus far. As we do every year, we spent the 4th of July weekend at Cohqwaiva for Aunt Mary's birthday and to celebrate America!

This year, Aunt Mary talked us all into moving the tables down to the river and dining riverside at sunset. She put me in charge of the table decor while she and Sarah Appleby slaved away with pastas and fresh summer salads. I can't say any of us have had a better dining experience.
